A collaborative collection by bead artist Nathalie Pommier and biomaterials designer Aradhita Parasrampuria. The 8 limited edition necklaces in this collection are made with sustainable beads developed from renewable algae cellulose and showcase the beautiful range of colors achieved with non-toxic coloring agents, such as microbial pigments and algae dyes. These beads are durable, compostable and carbon neutral. From the beads to the finished necklace, everything is made by us - two women. Honoring the raw materials, coral and algae inspired motifs are delicately handwoven on a beading loom and finished with gold filled hardware for a truly one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.
